Abstract
Low temperature measurements of Ti luminescence in ion-implanted natur al diamond reveal fine structure in the zero-phonon line 991.8 nm. Thi s structure is attributed to the formation of some loose impurity-defe ct complexes which seems to be specific for titanium and different fro m the behaviour of other transition element impurities.
