Abstract
A new type of complex between DNA and extended bis-netropsins, compose d of two dipyrrole-carboxamide fragments linked with tetra- or pentame thylene chains, was discovered and examined by physicochemical methods . The stoichiometry corresponds to three bis-netropsin molecules per b inding site consisting of 10 bp of the double helix.
