The analysis stems from the critical evaluation of concept apparatus a
nd basic principles used in geobotany and geobiocenology. Special atte
ntion is given to the conception of superstructural ecological units (
edaphic-trophic and edaphic-hydric orders, interorders and suborders,
vegetation grades) elaborated by Zlatnik, that stems from the existenc
e so-called permanent ecological conditions. From the point of view of
methodology it is necessary to distinguish between relations of livin
g organisms to the abiotic environment, i.e. own ecological relations,
and the cenotic interrelations controlled by ediphicators within the
framework of the permanent ecological conditions segment. Nudal beech
geobiocenoses rank among the simplest phytocenological and ecological,
that were created on normally developed soils of leading edaphic-hydr
ic order in the 3rd and the 4th vegetation grades. Collective (ecologi
cally uniform) impact of edaphic-trophic factors of such homeostatic g
eobiocenoses reflects the active reaction (pH(H2O)) of the upper 0-5 c
m thick mineral soil layer (less often of superficial humus) and the r
est part of undergrowth root zone with the necessary precision.
