Abstract
Auto-Backlund transformations associated with the approximate scatteri ng problems obtained previously are constructed for the generalized Bu rgers equation and generalized KdV equation with a source in the weakl y nonlinear limit. The ensuring approximate theorems of permutability are presented as well.
