Abstract
The reactions of [(eta(5)-C5H5)Mo(NO)I-2](2) with glycinate, D-phenylg lycinate, L-prolinate and L-azetidine-2-carboxylate give the chiral ch elate complexes (eta(5)-C5H5)(ON)(I)Mo(alpha-aminocarboxylate) as mixt ures of isomers. The x-ray diffraction of a crystal of (eta(5)-C(5)Me( 5))(ON)(I)MoNH2C(H)(tBu)CO2 shows trans configuration of the amino aci d and nitrosyl donors in a tetragonal pyramid.
