Abstract
Homonuclear H-1,H-1 NOE effects were observed for pi charge-transfer c omplexes of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) with aromatic hydrocarbons usi ng a 1D-NOESY experiment. The intensity of the NOEs indicates that the structure in solution is analogous to that in the solid state as dete rmined by x-ray crystallography.
