Abstract
In this paper we present a unified convergence theory for estimating d iscontinuous parameters in a general class of nonautonomous parabolic systems. The application of this theory to estimate parameters in the Euler-Bernoulli beam equation, flow equations, and the Fokker-Planck p opulation model is discussed.
