Abstract
Previously unknown accurate solutions have been found to the system of equations for slowly varying amplitudes of circularly polarized compo nents of optical field. The solutions describe the solitary waves of n ontrivial ellipticity. The ranges of parameter values are obtained for an isotropic nonlinear gyrotropic medium, in which various types of t he obtained solutions are possible. Stability of the solutions has bee n numerically analyzed.
