Abstract
Iona is a two-row, spring feed barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) developed a t the Agriculture Canada Research Station, Charlottetown, Prince Edwar d Island. it has high yield and good resistance to powdery mildew. Ion a is well adapted to Eastern Canada and is responsive to intensive man agement. Breeder seed is maintained at the Agriculture Canada Experime ntal Farm, Indian Head, Saskatchewan.
