Carcinoma in situ (CIS) of the glottis is an uncommon and poorly under
stood condition with few, large, long-term studies. Twelve cases are p

all the patients are disease free and in 83 per cent the mucosa has r
eturned to normal. The alternative methods of treatment are discussed.
