Abstract
In this paper, the possibility of using di-sodium beta-glycerophosphat e (GPH) as a new non-toxic inhibitor of the corrosion of steel for con crete reinforcement was investigated. The preliminary tests reported i n the paper were carried out in alkaline chloride solution which simul ates the characteristics of the electrolyte in the concrete pores.
