Abstract
A thoracic paravertebral mass in an asymptomatic woman with type 1 Gau cher's disease proved to be due to extramedullary hematopoiesis. This is, to our knowledge, the first case of intrathoracic extramedullary h ematopoiesis reported with Gaucher's disease.
