Abstract
The infrared spectre of trans-Cs2[CrCl2 (H2O)4]Cl3 and its deuterated isotopomers were investigated at room and liquid nitrogen temperature and at intermediate temperatures as well. The spectra of the partly de uterated analogues are not in agreement with the crystallographic data [1], perhaps because of the incorrect choice of the space group in wh ich the structure was solved and refined or the presence of disorder i n the structure.
