Abstract
In order to control the hydrogen chloride synthesis by the process com puter, the mathematical models for mass balance and one for the analys is of the process at equilibrium were established. The influence of th e temperature, the hydrogen excess, the inert content, and the oxygen concentration were also studied. The results of this analysis made pos sible the elaboration of several simplified versions of the model.
