Abstract
The central question tested in this study was whether dichloromethylen e-diphosphonate (CL(2)MDP) liposome-mediated elimination of hepatic an d splenic macrophages would influence zymosan-induced bacterial transl ocation and the zymosan-induced generalized inflammatory response.
