Abstract
The reaction of Mn(CF3COO)2 (1) and 1,10-phenanthroline in 1:1 molar r atio yields the polynuclear compound [Mn(CF3COO)2(phen)]n 2. The cryst al structure of 2 reveals zig-zag infinite chains with syn-syn bridgin g trifluoroacetate ions.
