Abstract
The adhesion of polyimide to polyimide was studied by measuring the pe el strength of various polyimide-polyimide composites. Different facto rs such as diffusion of polyamic acid to polyimide substrate, contact angle, wettability, and the thermal expansion coefficient of polyimide films and the presence of siloxane can affect this adhesion and are d iscussed in this article.
