Abstract
Plain radiography, bone scan and especially in infants sonography belo ng to the primary imaging methods for posttraumatic osteomyelitis. For further diagnostic check up of osteomyelitis CT, MRI and leukocyte sc intigraphy are excellent methods. Treatment of posttraumatic osteomyel itis is today a combination of operation, local and systemic antibioti c therapy.
