Abstract
New methods of structural modeling and its Prolog representation were elaborated for the multicriteria suboptimal design at the University o f Veszprem. A special transformation of Prolog definitions into Reeval uable Prolog (RProlog) was also developed for the computer assisted en gineering synthesis. In the present paper this method has been tested for the solution of the well known travelling salesman problem.
