RELATION BETWEEN THE CONTENT OF GROWTH-REGULATORS AND EFFECTIVENESS OF BRADYRHIZOBIUM-JAPONICUM

The objective of the investigation discussed in this paper was to stud y the effect of two Bradyrhizobium japonicum strains, which produce di fferent growth regulators, on the characteristics of the symbiotic ass ociation with soybean variety NS-16. The effect of the eluate of IAA s pots from TLC plates on the symbiotic association with the strain whic h is the less effective producer of growth regulators was studied as w ell. The results obtained showed differences in the mass of dry weight of plants and in nitrogen content, nitrogenase activity and in nitrog en fixation effectiveness.
