Ig. Berezniakov, PATHOGENETIC FEATURES OF ARTERIAL-HYPERTE NSION IN PATIENTS OF YOUNG AGE (DATA OF ACUTE PERORAL SALT LOADS), Vracebnoe delo, (1), 1993, pp. 36-38
Acute peroral salt loads were carried out in 73 persons (age: 15-30 ye
ars). Results indicate the leading role of genetic influences in chang
es of the main parameters of the water-salt homeostasis in formation o
f the pathological background of hypertensive disease, especially at t
he first stages of the disease or in increased risk, i. e. in subjects
with normal AP and heredity risk for hypertensive disease and in thos
e with borderline arterial hypertension, show an unstable regulation o
f the water-salt homeostasis with tendencies to sodium retention or it
s increased excretion. At the late stages advancing retention of sodiu
m is dominatin.
