Abstract
Reflection and transmission coefficients for horizontally stratified E (s)-layers are-numerically calculated using a full wave analysis. The analysis is general in terms of the permitted angles of incidence of t he radio wave and the orientation of the geomagnetic field with respec t to the wave. Concentration profiles of synthetic E(s)-layers used in the analysis are generated using wind shear theory.
