Abstract
Classical clinico-pathological correlations in acquired adulthood apha sia conflict with recent data collected using modern brain imaging tec hniques. Different hypotheses have been put forward to explain the lar ge number of clinico-radiological cases which are not consistent with traditional language zone theory.
