Abstract
We propose a mechanism by which density perturbations delta(rho)/rho a pproximately 10(-4) and a baryon asymmetry n(B)/s approximately 10(-10 ) can naturally be generated in any realistic supersymmetric theory. B y ''naturally'' mean that the coefficient lambda in the usual toy-mode l inflationary potentia V = lambdaphi4 is related to the superpotentia l Yukama coupling lambda(e) which generates the electron mass. We iden tify a nine-parameter ''quasiflat'' direction which generates delta(rh o)/rho through chaotic inflation and which leads to an Affleck-Dine va lley (flat direction) where primordial baryogenesis occurs.
