Abstract
Hitherto undescribed division activities in x-cells of dab Limanda lim anda are presented. The observed features occurred in d very few sampl es as clusters in certain regions of the conditions. The results suppo rt the view that x-cells are dividing similarly to certain types of am oebas. Additionally found cytoplasmic inclusions were Feulgen-positive . Specific coated granules resemble retro-/lentiviruses, and are assoc iated with the inclusion bodies.
