Abstract
Mechanical tests have been performed on bulk amorphous metal alloys to determine their constitutive behavior. Based on the experimental resu lts, it appears that amorphous metal alloys obey a Von Mises yield cri terion. This result has implications in determining the micromechanism s of plastic deformation in these materials.
