Abstract
Motivated by concentration effects of the energy and singular behaviou r of the distribution of particles, a new concept of solution, called functional solution, for the Vlasov-Poisson system in three dimensions is introduced. Global existence of functional solution is studied wit h positive bounded measures as initial data.
