Elastic scattering cross-sections of protons on carbon and silicon in
the energy region of 450 to 2200 keV have been measured at a laborator
y scattering angle of 155 degrees. Digitized data of proton elastic sc
attering on carbon and silicon at different laboratory angles transfer
red mathematically from the previous graphic data were also listed. Th
e present measured data have been tested on proton elastic scattering
spectra of several samples with the aid of computer simulation. The re
sults showed that these data worked reasonably well. Comparison betwee
n the measured data and the previous data showed good agreement. This
fact indicates that the method used to transfer the previous graphic d
ata to digitized data is reliable and useful.
