Abstract
C3H6 hydroformylation and CH3OH synthesis on organometallics derived ( Pd + Ln)/SiO2 and Pd/SiO2 catalysts have been studied. The activity an d selectivity towards methanol in CO + H-2 reaction were observed to i ncrease for all the modified catalysts while both the hydroformylation activity and selectivity towards oxygenates in C3H6 hydroformylation decreased for the catalysts in comparison to those of Pd/SiO2. The FRI R, TPD data and characteristic catalytic properties of the catalysts s tudied allow to suggest that C3H6 hydroformylation on (Pd + Ln)/SiO2 c atalysts occurs on monometallic Pd clusters without participation of m ixed active sites and CO complexes activated thereon.
