Abstract
We report a patient with a vesicular thyroid carcinoma secreting somat ostatin and associated to an endocrine duodenal calcitonin secreting t umour. Increase of plasam somatostatin level induced an endocrine synd rom which completely resolved after thyroidectomy. By contrast, the di gestive tumour remained asymptomatic. Six months after surgery, the co urse was marked by a relapse of the thyroid tumour along with pulmonar y metastasis. At that time, pathological analysis showed only indiffer entiated tumoural tissu.
