The exact solution of the scattering problem is obtained for the two-d
imensional right-angle model. It permits finding characteristics of el
ectron ballistic transport in right-angle shaped quantum channels. The
bound-state energies, mode-to-mode and averaged transmission probabil
ities of electrons moving through the right-angle bend have been calcu
lated. Conductance and electron-filtering properties of such systems a
re defined.
