VAPOR DENSITIES OF ALIPHATIC-ALCOHOLS

The vapor pressures of n. aliphatic alcohols are studied experimentall y over a wide range of stare parameters. For the first time, precise v alues are obtained for the second and third virial coefficients for va pors of methyl, n. propyl, n. butyl, and n. hexyl alcohols. The error of the density measurements is estimated at 0.1-0.3%. The experimental findings are given in tabulated form and described by the appropriate equations.
