The present paper describes the thermal (TG, DTG and DTA) analysis of
2-N-acetyl-salicyliden-hydrazino-4-chloromethyl thiazole (L(1)), 2-N-a
cetylsalicyliden-hydrazino-4-thiazolyl acetic ester (L(2)), and their
Cu(II) complexes of the [CuCl] type. The investigation has been made e
mploying Coats-Redfren as well as Horowitz-Metzger methods, using TG a
nd DTG data. Various kinetic and thermodynamic parameters are obtained
by regression analysis.
