Abstract
The new finding of Scorzonera purpurea L. in southern part of the Turc ianska kotlina Basin is briefly described in its physico-geographical as well as phytosociological context, and knowledge on the occurence o f this species in the Turcianska kotlina Basin is up-to-dated.
