Pd(NH3)4(MoO4) is tetragonal (space group I4(1)/amd, Z = 4) with a = 7
.4618(4)angstrom and c = 15.5565(10)angstrom. The structure was refine
d from single crystal X-ray diffraction data using 231 independent X-r
ay reflections to R(W) = 0.020 (R = 0.020). The crystal structure of P
d(NH3)4(MoO4) is built up by isolated PdN4 square planes and MoO4 tetr
ahedra. Hydrogen atoms were located around nitrogen and ensure the thr
ee dimensional cohesion of the structure by N-H.....O bonding.
