Icosahedral Al65Cu20Fe15 and Al40Cu9.9Ge25Mn2557Fe0.1 quasicrystals ar
e studied using Fe-57 transmission Mossbauer experiments. The spectra
are analyzed by distributions of electric-quadrupole interaction accou
nting for line asymmetries. Temperature dependences of the hyperfine p
arameters derived comprising average values of P(DELTA) distributions,
corresponding standard deviations and center shifts are presented in
a whole range from 8 to 300 K.
