Abstract
The structure of Ritipenem Acoxil, obtained by single crystal x-ray di ffraction analysis, is reported and some stereochemical features are d iscussed. The compound exhibits a characteristic CD spectrum. The rele vance of the C-5 configuration in the determination of the sign of the CD bands is also discussed.
