Abstract
The present status of surface, interface and thin film studies with pe rturbed gammagamma-angular correlation (PAC) spectroscopy is reviewed. Applications include adsorbate diffusion and structural phase transit ions on stepped metal surfaces, surface and interface magnetism as wel l as compound formation at reactive metal/metal interfaces. First appl ications to semiconductor surfaces and metal/semiconductor interfaces are discussed.
