The perturbed angular correlation technique was applied to measure the
quadrupole interaction parameters of Cd-111 at the In sites in electr
oplated In/Pt bilayers successively annealed at elevated temperatures.
The consecutive creation of different compounds was evidenced by mean
s of their PAC signal. The In7Pt3 and In3Pt2 COMPounds were identified
by comparison of the observed quadrupole interaction parameters with
those measured for In-Pt bulk samples with defined stoichiometry.
