Abstract
The nuclear spin-lattice relaxation of Co-59 in amorphous Fe-Co-B allo ys was studied by NMR and the results were compared with nuclear orien tation measurements. The NMR relaxation rates were evaluated taking in to account the electric quadrupole interaction. Then the results of bo th methods are in good agreement. It was confirmed that the spin-latti ce relaxation is independent of the external magnetic field in the mag netically saturated samples and it was found that it does not depend o n Co concentration.
