Abstract
We report herein the case of a 48-year-old man with malignant schwanno ma of the intrathoracic vagus nerve associated with von Recklinghausen 's disease. Malignant intrathoracic vagal tumors are extremely rare an d to our knowledge, only four other cases have been documented in the literature, none of which were associated with von Recklinghausen's di sease.
