Js. Calder et Rmr. Mcallister, INTERPRETING THE RESULTS OF UNILATERAL DIGITAL NERVE REPAIR, Journal of hand surgery. British volume, 18(6), 1993, pp. 797-799
We report the results of examination of patients before primary and se
condary unilateral digital nerve repair. Two-point discrimination was
uniformly recorded. The results show that significant overlap of adjac
ent digital nerves is common and this has important implications for i
nterpretation of results after repair. Recommendations are made regard
ing the evaluation of outcome following surgery.
