Abstract
A series of 123 patients presenting with abdominal eventrations were t reated by an aponevrotic graft. Operative mortality was 0.8 %. Recurre nt eventration was observed in eventrations with a diameter superior t o 4 cm (38 % at 55 months). The authors recommanded this technique onl y in cas of small eventrations or for the parietal reparation followin g closure colostomies.
