Abstract
Prolactin responses to buspirone challenges were examined in seven wom en with late luteal phase dysphoric disorder and the same number of he althy controls. The responses were found to be blunted during the foll icular phase in the women with LLPDD suggesting that 5-HT1A receptor s ubsensitivity is perhaps a trait rather than a state marker for LLPDD.
