Abstract
The theory of interaction between electromagnetic oscillations and a c harge carrier flow in metal-semiconductor and semiconductor-metal stru ctures is derived. A mechanism of a collisionless decrease of oscillat ions is discussed. The possibility of instabilities in nonequilibrium semiconductor plasma on the p - n junction surface is predicted and co rresponding increments are found.
