Abstract
A stable trifluoroacetylperfluorodiisopropylmethyl radical has been pr epared by interaction of the onyloxytetrafluoroethyl)perfluorodiisopro pylmethyl radical with anhydrous CsF. This reaction is the first examp le of a chemical transformation of a C-centered radical which is not r esonance-stabilized with retention of the radical center.
