Abstract
An expression is obtained for the probability of nuclear deexcitation by direct emission of positronium in the case of electric and magnetic transitions. The probability of this process has order of magnitude a lpha4 relative to the probability of gamma deexcitation. The ratio of the probability of transitions forming positronium to the probability of internal conversion is calculated.
