RESULTS OF BULK-DENSITY MEASUREMENTS OF P RESSED AND DRIED PULP

In view of the relevance of the bulk density, particularly for dimensi oning conveyor installations, three regression equations for the bull; densities of pressed, dried and molassed dried pulp are presented. Ow ing to the fact that the dry substance contents differ from the data i n the literature, the results for pressed pulp diverge considerably, w hile those for dried and molassed dried pulp agree closely with the pr eviously reported data.
