Abstract
Study of deflections and ageing of coke ovens due to thermal and mecha nical from a theoretical research concerning the stresses affecting th e metallic structure (buckstays, ties, etc.). Theoretical calculation model carried out by CPM, Irsid, and University of Nancy, compared wit h results of an important experimental field, installed on the new met allic structure of the Sollac Fos coke plant.
