Abstract
Usinor Sacilor and Thyssen Stahl entered into an agreement to develop an industrial process for direct thin strip casting between rolls. The se tests were conducted in parallel on two laboratory installations. T he results thus acquired are applied to the lsbergues industrial proto type. This prototype regularly casts 14-ton coils.
